Each creature in the 60-ft radius when the furnace forms takes 20d6 fire damage (Constitution save for half). Each creature that starts its turn in the area takes 8d6 fire damage with no save. Non-magical metal in the area softens and warps; non-magical wood, cloth, and flesh ignite. Tier IV armor begins to fail after 1 minute of exposure.
At Higher Levels
When cast using a slot of 10th level (ritual only), the furnace persists for 1 hour without concentration and the radius doubles.
