You impose purpose on a small unattended metal or stone object within range — a wrench, a candlestick, a fist-sized shard of casing, a length of pipe — and rouse it to motion as a minor construct ally under your command. The animated object becomes a Tier I construct with the following stats: AC 14, 20 hit points, walking speed 30 ft (or climb 20 ft if it lacks legs), and one melee attack with a +5 attack bonus that deals 1d8 bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage as appropriate to its shape. The construct acts on your initiative count and takes the actions you mentally direct (no action required from you to direct it). If you lose concentration or the construct is reduced to 0 hit points, it falls inert.
At Higher Levels
When cast using a slot of 5th level or higher, you may animate one additional small object per slot level above 4th, to a maximum of four constructs at 7th. Each construct's hit points increase by 5 per slot level above 4th.
