Origin Feature: Standing Orders
You hold (or held) a recognized rank within a Federation line unit, and your service record can be pulled at any Federation installation. Once per major settlement, you can call on Federation logistics for a non-classified favor appropriate to your rank: rations and a bunk for the night, a routine medical patch, requisition of a minor standard-issue item, or 1d4 hours of access to a field motor pool. Calling in unusual favors — overriding a checkpoint, suppressing a discharge note, or summoning armed support — costs a chit of standing the GM tracks. Conscripts marked as deserters do not lose this feature, but every use risks identifying their location.
