A four-wheeled hauler — internal-combustion or hydrogen-cell depending on local supply — built on a ladder frame heavy enough to survive a colony's first decade and simple enough to be welded back together with a field arc. The cab seats one driver and one passenger; the rear bench seats two more or folds flat for cargo. Every frontier world has its own brand: the Federation field service hands them out under an austere monogram, Drownside chop-shops kit them with bullbars and roll cage, Aurelion outposts repaint them gold and pretend they came from a workshop on Aurelios. Stat handles for the vehicle subsystem (design doc §11): approximate Hull Points 30, ground speed up to roughly 110 km/h on graded road and 40 cross-country, crew 1 (driver) plus 3 passengers, cargo capacity around 1,500 lb in the open bed. Notable features: hardpoint on the cab roof rated for a light weapon mount or comms dish; tow hitch; sealed engine bay rated for dust and shallow fording but not vacuum; spare drive-cell stowage under the rear bench. A Pilot with the Cavalryman or Ace Flyer subclass treats the truck as a competent baseline mount but not a Bonded Vessel.
