A thumb-sized splinter of the Continuum Crystal, shattered during the First Continuum Crisis and recovered from the ruin-fields of a Mythar enclave that no living scholar can name. The shard is colorless from one angle, white-hot from another, and entirely absent from a third — pictures of it never quite agree on what was photographed. While attuned, the bearer may, once per week, attempt to scry across planes: choose a known person, place, or moment in time and concentrate on the shard for 10 minutes. The GM may grant a vision, may grant a partial vision, may grant a lie, or may grant the attention of something that should not have been looked at. The Halcyion Order officially denies that shards exist; their reliquaries hold seven.
