Features
- Sun-Forged Constitution
Generations under harsh suns shaped your physiology. Choose one at character creation: you gain resistance to fire damage, or you gain resistance to radiant damage. You also suffer no detrimental effects from natural exposure to extreme heat or bright sunlight (e.g., heat exhaustion, sunblindness).
- Sun-Attuned Vision
Your eyes adapt instantly to high light. You are immune to the blinded condition caused by bright light, sun-equivalent flares, or radiant glare. You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks made in bright light or under any sun-equivalent illumination, and disadvantage on the same checks in total darkness.
- Bearer of the Light
You can shape a fragment of inner light. As an action, you can cause a point on your body or on an object you are touching to shed bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for another 15 ft, in a color of your choosing within the warm-spectrum range. The light lasts up to 1 hour and can be dismissed as a bonus action. Once per long rest, you can instead release the gathered light in a burst: each creature within 10 ft of you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your CHA modifier) or be blinded until the end of your next turn.
- Affinity of the Sun
Your bloodline resonates with the Sun school of Rifting. When you cast a channel from the Sun school, you add +1 to one of the channel's damage rolls, attack rolls, or save DCs (your choice, made when you cast). If you do not channel, you instead gain proficiency in one of: Religion, Lore, or History — your choice at character creation.
