Features
- Elemental Heritage
At character creation, choose one Elemental Heritage. Your choice determines a permanent resistance and grants you a small ability tied to the chosen element. The choice is binding and visible — Fire-touched Genasi often show coal-warm skin or ember-bright eyes; Water-touched, the faint scalecast and gill-flutter of seafolk; Earth-touched, a stone-grey complexion and unusually slow heartbeat; Air-touched, lightning-pale hair and breath that occasionally crackles.
- Fire Heritage — You have resistance to fire damage. You know the **Produce Flame** cantrip (or its in-setting equivalent — a palm-sized handful of conjured fire that sheds light in a 10-ft radius and can be hurled as a ranged channel attack for 1d8 fire damage). Charisma is your channeling ability for this cantrip.
- Water Heritage — You have resistance to cold damage. You have a swim speed of 30 ft, and you can breathe both air and water. You do not suffer mechanical penalties for being submerged or wet, including to attacks with non-electrical weapons.
- Earth Heritage — You have resistance to acid damage. Once per long rest, you may invoke **Pass Without Trace** centered on yourself for up to 1 hour: you and any allies within 30 ft gain a +10 bonus to Stealth checks and leave no tracks, scent, or trail behind them. Concentration is required to maintain the effect. Charisma is your channeling ability for this feature.
- Air Heritage — You have resistance to lightning damage. Once per long rest, you may invoke **Levitate** on yourself for up to 10 minutes — you rise vertically up to 20 ft off any surface and may move yourself up and down freely with a bonus action, though you cannot move horizontally except by being pushed or by grabbing a fixed surface. Concentration is required to maintain the effect. Charisma is your channeling ability for this feature.
- Elemental Senses
Your bloodline gives you an instinctive read on the element that birthed you. You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Nature) checks made to detect, identify, or interpret phenomena tied to your chosen Heritage element — a Fire Genasi smells a banked forge from across a room, an Air Genasi feels a pressure-front three minutes before it breaks, a Water Genasi tastes salt in the wind from a coastline she cannot see. The bonus does not extend to elements outside her own Heritage.
- Primal-Tongue
You can read, write, and speak Common and Primordial — the elder Riftcant that the four elements share at the root, distinct in dialect from the Sun, Earth, Water, Ether, Arc, Molten, and Metal schools of formal Rifting but recognizable to any of them.

Lifespan
Mature at 20 · Typical max 120 years
Genasi mature at roughly the human rate and live somewhat longer — a typical maximum of 120 years, with elemental influence visibly intensifying as the Genasi ages. An elder Fire Genasi may quite literally smolder when angered.
